Turn any image into a bold, print-inspired halftone — the classic comic-book/newsprint dot pattern, rendered live with full control over grid, dot shape, and color. Perfect for giving flat photos a punchy, editorial edge.

4 dot styles — Classic, Gooey, Holes, and Soft, each with a distinct dot character
2 grid types — Square or Hex grid layout
Original Colors option — sample colors straight from the image, or set your own Background/Foreground palette
Inverted mode — flip the image luminance for a negative-style halftone look
Grain layer — mix grain into the dot edges or add a full post-processing grain overlay, with independent grain scale
Built in Paper style, running on a lightweight, zero-dependency shader engine for smooth performance

How to use
Add the Halftone Dots component onto your canvas
Upload the image you want to convert into a halftone pattern
Pick a Type and Grid combo (Classic + Square for a print-shop feel, Gooey + Hex for something more organic)
Adjust Size and Radius to set how big and dense the dots are
Toggle Original Colors on for a natural palette, or set custom Background/Foreground colors
Optionally add Grain Mixer / Grain Overlay for extra texture
