What it does

Three projects presented as a switchable set — a title, a description, a thumbnail and a link for each, with a custom cursor over the whole thing.

It's a small portfolio section that arrives complete, rather than a layout you assemble.

Working through the panel

Setting it up

Each project has four fields: title, description, link and thumbnail. Fill in three sets and the section is done.

Write the descriptions to a similar length. The panel doesn't resize between projects, so one short line next to one long paragraph leaves the layout looking unbalanced on whichever tab has less.

And set all three links. An unlinked project in a set of three reads as unfinished rather than as deliberate.

Variant and cursor

Variant gives you six layouts — three designs, each in a standard and a small version. The small ones are for when this sits inside a column rather than across a full section.

Cursor is a custom cursor control, so the pointer changes over the component. Use it to signal that the thumbnails are clickable — that's the affordance a tabbed layout otherwise lacks, because nothing about a tab tells you the panel behind it is a link.
